Carlogie Cup. This year for the first time the Carlogie Cup was awarded for digital images and this brought a bumper bundle of entries. It was good to see so many of the Club being involved in the competition but it did mean that our judge, Stan Farrow, was faced with the daunting task of giving his verdict on 84 images. Every image received a considered and helpful comment from Stan and by the narrowest of margins the winner was Iain Sloan. The podium finishers were Iain with 101 points, Mikael Englund with 100 and Alastair Petrie and Jon Cook who tied for third on 98. Anne Tee was a cat's whisker away with 97 points. Well done to them and all who took part. Iain's image of the chaffinch was judged best in competition and the winning images are shown below: 1. Chaffinch, 2. Loch Laggan View, 3. Stalker Castle at Dawn, 4. Otter, 5. Monifieth Sunrise, 6. Crane.
